Yes Ma'am! A Comedy Podcast for Creative Recovery
Yes Ma’am Podcast is a comedy podcast for creative recovery—aka that sweet, messy process of reclaiming your inner artist after burnout, perfectionism, or just life got in the way.
Hosted by Anna and Sarah—artists and business owners—we explore what happens when you get out of YOUR OWN WAY and just MAKE THE THING. We ask how to make space for play and curiosity. What if it's the journey that matters? Not the final product. DANG
If you’ve ever said “I’m not creative,” or you feel you've lost your creative voice, we’re here to lovingly call BS. Doing this work can make you more sparkly in every area of your life—because it’s not just about making art. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, your intuition, your aliveness—and bringing that into everything you do.
Each season, we walk through The Artist’s Way, asking big questions (no answers), making weird stuff, laughing a lot, and accidentally healing. Come sit with us.
We love you.

WEEK 11 | In Which We UN-Domesticate
It's Week 11 WHAT?!?!?!
This week, we’re breaking free and asking: what is creative autonomy, actually? Does cutting yourself off from creativity turn you into some kind of wild, feral creature? (Maybe.) How do you get all the things done without strangling your creative spirit in the process? Do you even know your artist temperament? And once you figure it out, how do you support it so you’re not just… miserable all the time?
Anna pushes back on the ways she’s domesticated herself while chasing her goals—it’s too hard to follow all the rules. We wonder if it’s actually responsibility that kills playfulness for adults, and if play is the way back. What if creativity was its own reward, instead of always being about the end result?
Sarah reminds us that creativity is free. She also questions whether she even likes fun (relatable). Because seriously: if your life is dull, your art probably will be too. Maybe try leaving your house? Just a thought.
We also wonder: what if you redefined success to only count the things you can actually control? What if creativity really is the reward? We talk about being in our bodies, not torturing ourselves, and—once again—remind you to just build the artist altar already. Geez.
Let’s un-domesticate!
