Yes Ma'am! A Comedy Podcast for Creative Recovery
Yes Ma’am Podcast is a comedy podcast for creative recovery—aka that sweet, messy process of reclaiming your inner artist after burnout, perfectionism, or just life got in the way.
Hosted by Anna and Sarah—artists and business owners—we explore what happens when you get out of YOUR OWN WAY and just MAKE THE THING. We ask how to make space for play and curiosity. What if it's the journey that matters? Not the final product. DANG
If you’ve ever said “I’m not creative,” or you feel you've lost your creative voice, we’re here to lovingly call BS. Doing this work can make you more sparkly in every area of your life—because it’s not just about making art. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, your intuition, your aliveness—and bringing that into everything you do.
Each season, we walk through The Artist’s Way, asking big questions (no answers), making weird stuff, laughing a lot, and accidentally healing. Come sit with us.
We love you.

WEEK 8 | In Which We Confront Secret Losses
How do you even podcast?! We’re officially releasing episodes and recording AT THE SAME TIME! Anna spirals (hello, self-awareness overload) but also shares how wild and powerful it’s been to listen to yourself learn in real time. It’s cringey! It’s growth! It’s both!
This week is packed with big, juicy questions:
🧠 Is understanding something intellectually different from understanding it emotionally?
🔥 Can you metabolize pain into energy? (Excuse us??)
🛠️ Is pain just your system screaming, “FIX THIS”?
We also get into the realness of studying art at school. Does it help? Does it mess you up? Can you grade creativity? Is imagination actually more important than knowledge?
Plus: what happens when your creative project becomes a product? What if your process is the most sacred part—and not the outcome?
And the kicker: what if the goals you create for your creative life should aim at your definition of success, not the world’s shiny, hollow version?
Big questions, lots of heart, zero clean answers—but we’re in it. Let’s go!!!
