Yes Ma'am! A Comedy Podcast for Creative Recovery
Yes Ma’am Podcast is a comedy podcast for creative recovery—aka that sweet, messy process of reclaiming your inner artist after burnout, perfectionism, or just life got in the way.
Hosted by Anna and Sarah—artists and business owners—we explore what happens when you get out of YOUR OWN WAY and just MAKE THE THING. We ask how to make space for play and curiosity. What if it's the journey that matters? Not the final product. DANG
If you’ve ever said “I’m not creative,” or you feel you've lost your creative voice, we’re here to lovingly call BS. Doing this work can make you more sparkly in every area of your life—because it’s not just about making art. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, your intuition, your aliveness—and bringing that into everything you do.
Each season, we walk through The Artist’s Way, asking big questions (no answers), making weird stuff, laughing a lot, and accidentally healing. Come sit with us.
We love you.

WEEK 5 | In which God Has A Lot of MONEY
Welcome to Week 5, folks. Buckle up, this one’s a long one. 🏎️💨
This chapter had us going wait. like. what?! on repeat. Real talk: God has a LOT of money. Like, unlimited?
We dive headfirst into the deep end of God, spirituality, and organized religion and ask: Are they the same thing? (spoiler alert: they are NOT). How do we, as artists in recovery, reclaim a spirituality that supports us without dragging along the baggage of human-organized religion? And is a personal spiritual connection the only real path to intimacy with others?
We get real about the fear of abandonment and how it affects literally every single choice we make, all the time, forever. 😵💫 Anna attempts to speak Gen Z (send help), while Sarah lives in a van down by the river and teaches us how happiness can exist independent of all things. 🚐✨ WHAT!
Anna has a full-on Kevin McCallister moment and hides under the bed after her creativity actually shows up! Sarah wonders if expecting your art to pay for your food and roof is even a good idea (yikes). We also break down the difference between possible vs. probable when it comes to how we view our creative projects, wrestle with how to be a good human to the people who are relying on you while still doing your own thing, and, most importantly…
🚨 Just freaking buy the ticket, yo. 🎟️
